While it is difficult to see some of the screenshot detail, thank you for providing this information and the version of PO you are running as well.
There was a hotfix issued for 160630 to resolve an intermittent DE stopped responding issue; however, there was no loss of data.
You're correct that a receipt will not archive unless all documents in the set are completed. This may require a database repair.
I'd suggest contacting your Adagio consultant who can look at this for you. They'll probably also request to create an Adagio snapshot for review as it could provide more information as to what is occurring on your system.
They can also access and install the latest PO hotfix for you.
