Next time this occurs, please get a screenshot or write down the entire error message. Sometimes a message looks kind of technical but it's all important information.
For many functions, Adagio creates a temporary file in your data and then deletes it again right away. However, it sounds like your system may be having problems either deleting the temp file right away or the temp file still exists for some reason and the new one can't be created as needed. The question is why is this occurring on your system?
Is data integrity clean? Make a backup and run DIC from the File menu.
Please always provide the program name (eg AP or Payables) and both the version being used and its release date when making an inquiry. This information can be very useful to us in trying to troubleshoot a problem. You can see this information by selecting Help | About from the program main menu.
The release date is underneath the program name and version in the format (yymmdd).
