Missing File - Order Entry Email

I attempted to email my invoices in OrderEntry and received "The program can't start because MSVCR110.DLL is missing from your computer...." I did a search and it's in the System32 folder but not the SysWOW64 folder. This happened after I did the PurchaseOrder and DataCare upgrades. I copied the missing file to the 64-bit directory and this seemed to fix it. Just was wondering if there is a 64-bit version of this file.
Thanks

Hi Mike,
On the workstation that you were trying to email from OrderEntry, does this workstation also use either PurchaseOrders or DataCare, and has a workstation setup for either of these been run since you installed the upgrades? We'd like to know, in case there is a problem on our end.
In the most recent releases of both PurchaseOrders and DataCare, email support for SSL encryption servers was added, which requires a workstation install to update local system files. This also affects emailing for all Adagio programs, not just PO and DC. Our first thought is that because a workstation setup may not have been done for either of these programs on this workstation (perhaps because the workstation doesn't use PO or DC), then the missing file could be correctly installed by simply running the workstation setup for either PO or DC.
But if this workstation does use either PO or DC and has done a recent workstation setup, then what you ran into should not have happened and there might be a problem with the workstation setup, which we would need to investigate. --- Also, copying the file from the System32 to the SysWOW64 folders isn't correct, because that is mixing up 32-bit and 64-bit version. You can get the correct version of the file from either the Softrak\system\WIN32 or Softrak\system\WIN32\sys64 folder for copying.

Warren: No, not yet. The email setup in the application requires selecting an option to enable SSL, and that option hasn't yet been added to AR, OE, IN, AP or TB or any other app that supports emailing.
But as we have read here what just happened, a workstation install of PurchaseOrders or DataCare must also be done on all stations that use email in any other module, such as OrderEntry, even if the station does not use PO. We will update the release notes to indicate this.

Everything gets installed from my workstation, and I use all modules on it except for BankRec.
Thanks

Hi Mike, We've investigated the logs, and according to what we saw, the install of PO was done first and then followed by DC, and the file above was installed correctly, at least to the workstation from which the upgrades were installed from. Did you actually run a workstation setup for PO on your workstation? Because you copied files afterwards, we can't be 100% certain of what we saw in the ChkSys log. There was another post today about the same problem, and she indicated that a PO workstation setup solved the problem for her, as we expected it to.

Hi Support
Honestly, can't remember if I ran a workstation setup or not. I installed the upgrade, followed directions, and then moved on to the DC upgrade. I really don't pay a lot of attention during the upgrade process because it's so straight forward. I do have one problem when doing a PO upgrade. It always wants to do the upgrade to the C: drive, not the S: drive where it should be. This is the only module that does this. But I don't think this has anything to do with the missing file.
Now I did try to send an invoice email from another workstation to test. I received the missing file error but the invoice did send. Should this have happened? I can't investigate further until lunch.
Thanks
