Receivables and O/E

Terms - We are giving Customers terms as follows:

Orders dated from 1st to 15th
Due: End of Month (i.e. 30th or 31st, ignoring February)

Orders dated from 16th to end of month
Due: 15th of next month

We are unable to figure out a single Terms Code that will handle this.
Any suggestions how to best make this work with the least amount of user-input?

Use the "Specific Date" Term and adjust the date in the Terms file on the 16th and and 1st of the month.

Andrew, from what you are advising:

On the 1st-15th
I would set the Term Code to Numbers of days from a specific day of month, and set the Number of days: 0 and Day of Month: 31

On the 16th-31st
I would change the setting to: A specific day of next month and set the Day of month to 15.

I tried this and it seems to work.

Thus, I would have to go into the Terms Code twice a month to make these changes; after we complete the Invoicing on the 15th and again at month end.

No.

I would use the Terms Code rule "Specific Date", added in the last Upgrade, and set the Due date to the date I want.

Makes sense.
So we only have to modify the date in the Term Code every few weeks approximately.
Thanks for the suggestion, Andrew.
