When I export a view/workspace from GV in landscape mode I always have to change the setting in the page setup. Is it possible to default this option so that all of my GV reports get exported to Excel in landscape mode?

The next Upgrade to GridView will send the page orientation to Excel. In the interim, define a default printer with the landscape orientation as the default for use by Excel.

I am curious about why you are exporting to Excel and then printing from there. Why not print directly from GridView? What is Excel doing that GridView cannot?

Our client wants to see the view on one page only and since the view is too wide it doesn't fit on one landscape page so when we export it to Excel and print it from there we can change the option on the print menu to fit to one page.

File | Page Setup allows you to fit the View onto a single page in GridView.
