The current behavior - that needs to be fixed - is that if someone uses SalesCQ to Edit a Note on a Prospect, this causes the problem you are seeing when deleting a customer that has a Note. The problem originates in SalesCQ because it doesn't do the correct record-locking clean up when editing Prospect Notes, and goes away when the SalesCQ program is closed.
The problem does not occur if new notes are added to prospects in SalesCQ, nor does it happen when deleting customers that do not have any notes.
If the problem happens to you, your only choices are to get the salesperson to close SalesCQ or to get logged out of the system as you currently are doing. I sympathize that this is annoying, especically when it is difficult to get a hold of the salesperson. This is not the way we want to program to be working.
In the mean-time, if it is possible to have the salespeople not stay in SalesCQ - especially if they edit Prospect Notes - then this will help you out. Also, instead of deleting the customer, mark it Inactive and then at the end of the day use the Delete Inactive Customers function.
How often are you having to delete customers?
