When I copy an item in IC to a new code, it doesn't copy the information from the Pricing tab, so I lose the discount/markup amounts for the 5 customer types.

Is there an option I've missed to enable this?

I couldn't duplicate this in the IC 81C (101104) SP or the later HF releases.

Which version of IC are you using?
What are the pricing options?

Did you change the Category when you copied the item? If you did, the item will revert to the default pricing from the new Category code.

IC 8.1C (101224).

No change in category code.

It does seem like the pricing setup affects how the copy works. For example, in sample data, if the pricing is setup as markup by amount, copying the item will result in the new item getting set to markup by percentage with the A-E numbers being reset to 0.

If the pricing is setup as markup by percentage, the copy works properly.

If the pricing is setup as discount by amount, the copied item gets set to discount by percentage with all 0's.

If the pricing is setup as discount by percentage, the copy works properly.

So, the issue only appears if you're using an amount rather than a percentage.
