We get an error message quite frequently when trying to print/preview Letters in AR. The error message reads:

Error 2 occurred when attempting to change lock on customer.

After clicking OK, another Error box pops up and reads:

Unable to lock customers exclusive, Unable to sort.

This error prevents us from printing and previewing our letters. How do we fix this?

If you searched this forum you would have found other instances of Error 2. Likley the same solutin would work in this case;

Delete the contents of your TEMP directory; c:\documents & settings\User_name\Local Settings\temp and c:\windows\temp (or c:\winnt\temp depending upon operating system).

This would be done on every workstation and/or user on a terminal server.
