For some reason the Excel tab in the A/R 9.0A is missing in any of the fields. Why is that ? And how do I reclaim or reactivate this tool?? Last week the Excel tab in the Smartfinder area was there and now it seems to be gone! Was this Magic? Simply How do I fix this issue?Lester Frischman Best Buy Uniforms Pittsburgh PA
Do you mean the ExcelDirect button on the SmartFinder?
In AR 9.0 and subsequent releases, the ability to send the grids to Excel was made a user security option. Check the settings for this under File | Users.

"Yes" - I do mean the ExcelDirect button on the Smartfinder. I took your advise and did located the A/R Program and then I opened the File /User submenu as instructed But I still do not see the Excel option. From the File menu, pick User Setup. Edit a user. At the bottom right will be an option 'Enable SF Export', which is the Excel Direct button on the SmartFinder. Select it to see the button.
