Hello,

New to Adagio but not new to accounting software and new to the company. I do not have access to the former accountant. We have 5 users on Adagio and as of today no one could log into the system due to the following:

" The Report Tables drive is currently not set to drive [L:]. However, that drive does not cotain current report tables for Adagio Receivables"- this also happened with the Ledger and Payables.

The instructions indicated that remapping was required. But we could not remap as the program would shut down automatically. Or, if we could open to the module, the program would not let us "open" ANY programs. Essentially, the program froze at the start-up.

Thus, we decided to install all the updates. We managed to get the GL up-to-date. However we still cannot open the Receivables and the Payables subledgers.

Help!!!

Hi Trisha, .. sounds like your Adagio is not installed properly, and with the recent update attempts you may have messed it up further. We can get this cleaned up for you, if you wish. We are your Adagio Business Partner.

Hi Allan,

I just left you a phone message. Here's the latest update on the upgrades.

-It seems that we do not use AR subledger and thus this would explain the mapping issue;
-The recent upgrades brought back the ledger and trial balance lines up with last week. In addition, the outstanding batch in the ledger are accurate.
- I now have an issue with the new AP subledger with the following: "conversion to AP 8.1B failed. Must restore data from backup".

Could you please confirm what the message would be if we no longer use the AR subledger (the mapping issue makes sense since there is no data). As well, can you assist with the AP data issue?

The Report Tables are used by Adagio programs for doing Crystal Reporting and they are normally on the same drive letter as Adagio is installed. It appears when an install or upgrade was being done, the Report Table drive letter was changed to L, just re-install the programs again using the correct drive letter. This has nothing to do with the data.

How long would it take to re-create the AP data and can you? If you have started a conversion and it failed, I would be very careful of the backup copy. You may want to get a prifessional in to go over the system and to be sure you do not lose your current data.

Once you get the AP back, check that it balances to the Ledger. It is possible that they will not agree to each other.
