Can anybody tell me how to import invoices from Quickbooks to Adagio?

Are you trying to import invoice information into Adagio Receivables (which just needs the customer number, invoice number, date, g/l account and amount), or into Adagio Invoices or Adagio OrderEntry - modules which have much more complex import requirements?

I'm trying to import invoices from quickbooks to Adagio Invoices module.

There is no miracle program that will do this. You will have to build the function yourself.

If it were me, I would export the QB invoices to Excel, convert them in Excel to Adagio-importable format (using formulas and the like), and then import the invoices from there.

Currently, Adagio Invoices is quite particular about the import format. If you wait until the next release (it may be months away, who knows), I know that Softrak will be making the format more flexible.

OK - I have to ask...

Why are you not doing the invoice in Adagio Invoices? If you invoice in QuickBooks, then you're going to need to keep customer lists and inventory (or parts list) items in synch. This is going to be a major problem.

The only integration between QuickBooks and Adagio is that Adagio can product financial statements from QB GL data.

Just out of curiousity, can you name any other accounting software packages whose invoicing module integrates with QuickBooks? Why would you expect them to when QB is the competition?
