I am getting the wrong year on my financial statements when I use the 'statement group print' feature. This isn't just a mis-print of the date string; I'm actually getting the wrong year's data.

This problem occurs both in 'maintain financial statements' and 'print financial statements'.

I have reset all the toolbars in the financial reporter, so I have the drop-down box for choosing the year. I have set the year in the drop-down box to 2008 in all sheets of my financial statments, and saved the changes. Individual sheets print fine, with me choosing the department and year manually. I logged into the G/L with the date I wanted to print statements for (January 31, 2008). However, when I use the statement group print option, the dates both onscreen and on the printouts reset to 2009.

My statement group print is set for 'current period'. I have not even created the 2009 year in the G/L yet, though I have created a 2009 forecast. (The 2009 forecast is printing very nicely - too bad that's not what I'm trying to print today! I think I'm going to like this upgrade once the wrinkles are worked out.)

I'll go ahead and print the statements today using the obvious workaround of choosing each department and year manually. However, any pointers you can give me that would make the process easier next month would be appreciated.

Do you have the latest service pack (Jan 2008) for Adagio Ledger? We've added the fiscal year to the 'Specify Fiscal Period' screen when using Statement Group Print, so this might clear up some confusions.

To set this up, open the View Statement Groups window (where you create and edit Statement Groups). Right-click on a statement group and from the pop-up menu, make sure that 'Specify Fiscal Period' has a checkmark next to it. If it doesn't, left-click on the option to select it. When you next print your statement group, a 'Specify Fiscal Period' screen will appear, allowing you to select which period and year you are printing for. This will be used for every statement in the group.
