A user pointed this out to me and asked if this could be fixed:

When she looks at an item in Inventory goes to the Quantity tab, looks up whatever she needs, closes that window, then goes to a different item... that item will come up with the PROFILE tab selected, not the QUANTITY tab (which was the 'active' tab in the previous item window.

On the other hand, in Receivables, one can look at a customer, select any tab (let's say 'Transactions'), close that customer's window and look at a different customer. That new customer's window will appear with that same tab as active ('Transactions' in this example) - which makes sense and is the way Inventory should behave.

This user has to look at lots of customers and items, so having to select the 'Quantity' tab in Inventory every single time for every single item adds a lot of work for her. She would prefer Inventory would behave like Receivables - and I would have to agree with her. It just makes more sense this way and if for no other reason, it should work the same way across all modules for consistency.

We would greatly appreciate it if this could be fixed.

Thanks! I wish you wouldn't consider this part of a wishlist, though... Any chance you would be able to incorporate this into a service pack? I mean, this should really be looked at as a bug fix and less as an enhancement request or suggestion.
