Client uses OE with AR. They intentionally left the salesperson field blank in AR customer records so OE would prompt for the salesperson when a new order is entered.

After upgrading to AR 8.1, if they edit a customer record, they cannot save without assigning a salesperson.

Is there a way to change this option?

Hi Kate,

We had made a change to AR81 to require a Salesperson, in order to address something in OrderEntry and to match the documentation. We backed out that requirement with an AR81 service pack, so all you have to do is install the SP.
