Sometimes I have been able to email invoices with no problem. Other times, the appropriate screens appear, including an Outlook Express box asking if it is okay to send the message. Although I click "Send", the message does not appear in Outlook Express as sent. When I send from the queue, same problem.
I can't see any difference between those that were sent and those I am unable to send. In my firewall, Adagio Invoices is permitted to send mail. Is there any other utility that might have to be enabled for Adagio to send mail?

But then why would it work sometimes and not others?

I tried sending one of the messages to myself, and it worked. So it seems to have a problem with certain email addresses.

I don't know if my experience applies, but I'm hoping to finally contribute to this forum!

When I send my emails using the mailmerge of HTML documents in Word through Outlook, I have learned to open Outlook first. That way I don't need to confirm each email.

Hi Kate,

We've had one other report of Adagio emailing using MAPI and Outlook Express and some email addresses working (such as the business partner like yourself) but others not working. But never did get the final resolution - they chose to email to a known working address and re-direct from there...

Does Direct method work for the same email addresses that fail under MAPI?
Could there be some patterns as to email addresses that exist in the Outlook Express 'address book' or not? Maybe why yours works? Just a guess and a hunch.
