I am currently changing our GL structure from a 4 diget account & 2 diget department to a 4 diget account and 6 diget department structure to enhance our reporting capabilites.

I need to greatly increase our departments and was wondering if there was a way to export our department, change and or add new department numbers and descriptions and then import the new departments into our GL?

If you are doing this at year end, then you can easily export your chart of accounts to Excel, make the changes there, and then import the new chart.

If you want to make these changes in the middle of the fiscal year, then you need Account Code Change from our 3rd Party developer KOM and Assoc.
