Hello Kate Spontak, If the AR/JC Integration is not turned on, then Adagio Receivables does not provide any space to enter a job number on an invoice, and so wouldn't generate any JC transaction to retrieve. What am I missing?

In Job Cost, Receivables integration was turned on. AR did take job number and does show job numbers and billings account on AR posting journal. I can see transactions in AR with job numbers, and there are new billing transactions in Job Cost since the change.

Hi Kate Spontak, ACCPAC Plus job numbers? Was the ACCPAC Plus data restored after it was converted? If so, then the transactions will have to be manually keyed into Adagio JobCost.

ACCPAC Plus Data is not restored. JC*.* files are not available. Job information had to come from Adagio Job Cost. Posting Journals do show the Job. Billing Transactions were not retrieved to Adagio Job Cost.

Hi Kate, I've emailed you too. The retrieval file that Adagio Receivables updates for Job Cost is different if you are interfaced with Adagio JobCost or Accpac Plus Job Cost. If the wrong interface was set up in Adagio Receivables, then the wrong file is being updated by posting invoices or payments in AR. Because of the different data structure between the different Job Cost programs, you may not simply rename the retrieval file - they will have to enter the billings/payment batch manually in to Adagio JobCost. You also indicated that transactions are already posted and retrieved to JC. Do you mean prior to using Adagio JobCost, or since a change was made? Please clarify if the above does not answer your question.

Hi Kate Spontak, Just a note before I bow out of this thread... You might be able to use GridView to help you re-create the billing batch that needs to be posted to Adagio JobCost. It will be able to "see" the transactions in ACCPAC Plus Job Costing, and Adagio JobCost supports importing of the various transaction types.

Hi Andrew and Support, This is not Kate....for some reason when logging into the forum from our office, it automatically logs me in as Kate. Perhaps this is something that needs to be addressed? In any event, it's Karen from Benco, and Kate was questioning the forum on our behalf. I have restored the batches manually into Job Cost. However, another problem we're having is with the Job Status Report. "OTHER CHGS" does not reflect the actual charges, and always shows a "o" value. Can you tell me what needs to be done to fix this? Thanks, Karen
