Getting a little gunshy here but stupid question I assume the latest
Ledger service pack would not cause an issue when trying
to print cheques from Payables?

Issue with a client getting an Access Violation error for the
Payables.exe file.

Did some checking and previous posts indicate the
Eztasks file getting locked?

Is the simplest solution to do a server reboot?

Hi Scott,

I can't think of any reason why the latest Ledger service pack would affect Payables check printing. Even if system files like ADS were updated, which they weren't for this SP.

If in fact the EZTASKS.LD4 file was locked, it would be causing a whole lot more problems than just printing checks, and I believe there would be an error 1305 associated with this.

Is it just printing AP checks? At what stage of printing? Either or both System or Manual checks? Do they use DocStore (which would create and link a PDF)?

Hi Support,

Thanks for the post. I just had them reboot the server and the workstation in question and haven't heard back so I assume that did the trick.

What caused it have no idea but just thought I would mention.
