You can feed the 4 additional information fields from the item master to the details of a PO by right-clicking on the item, selecting Additional Item Info, and clicking OK.

However, the fields do not feed if the first line is blank. I don't think this is the desired result. Unless I'm missing something.

Can you put a "." in the first line so it is not "blank", but also not very prominent?

I could put a "." in the first line but I am not the user, and it is not something the user will think of doing. That's what I call a non-intuitive workaround.

This client has designated lines 2 and 3 for specific purposes, and often doesn't enter anything in the first line. Really, that shouldn't cause the PO additional lines to not show.

I guess what I'm suggesting is that the additional lines be saved to the PO even if the first line is blank.
