I am seeking some assistance and hopefully this is a straight forward question. My problem is with installing Adagio GridView on a computer running Windows 8 Professional. Below is the error message I am getting when I attempt to install the GridView module.



I am installing GridView from our server (labeled as //clssvr01) in the screenshot. I am hestitant against running the utility since that server is where our other workstations run Adagio from.

How do I make sure that the Adagio GridView Report Tables are properly installed on my workstation without affecting the files on our server?

Hi Jody,
You'll probably be wise to call your Adagio consultant to look at. This is a configuration issue, and I think resolvable in less than an hour, but there are several situations that need to be looked at to determine what is the best way to resolve.

We have seen this before, and you can continue to use your Adagio without issue for your other Adagio modules.

Assuming that you have it installed correctly in the first place:

Run x:\softrak\gvwin\wksetup\wksetup.exe instead.

Where X is the drive Adagio is installed on.

Douglas, thank you very much for this instruction, I ran that setup and it would appear as though the module was able to be installed correctly using this method.
