Hello,

I have downloaded the trial version of the ODBC and have installed it on one of our servers. It seems to be installed fine ( I am able to select ADAGIO ODBC Driver) in the ODBC Data Source Administrator, but when I try to follow the tutorial found in "SOFTRAK\ODBC\Samples\SampelsAccess" Access crashes when I try to select which data source to use.

The problem details that Access gives me are:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: MSACCESS.EXE
Application Version: 12.0.6535.5005
Application Timestamp: 4bf5c550
Fault Module Name: KERNELBASE.dll
Fault Module Version: 6.1.7601.17651
Fault Module Timestamp: 4e211319
Exception Code: 0eedfade
Exception Offset: 0000b9bc
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.18.10
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
LCID: 1033
Brand: Office12Crash
skulcid: 1033

I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem, or possibly know how to fix it.

Thanks.

Carlos:
There is a Hot Fix for ODBC. It solves an error message, though not the one you are seeing. In fact, the message you've shown us doesn't refer to Adagio at all. I suggest 2 steps:

1) Test Access with a different ODBC driver, if you can
2) If it works, contact your dealer for the ODBC Hot Fix to see if that helps.
