I ran month end on AR and then did data integrity check only to receive three errors, ran the rebuild, and it set invoice, cash and adjustments batches to 1, it seems like a year end not a period end is there a way to back this out and return to October 31, 2011 month end and start again?

Hi, Wanda,

I'm using AR9.0B(110920) and just retested the Period End function a couple of times using different settings. I didn't experience this problem at all.

Period End and Year End are very close to each other on the Maintenance menu, and the function run fairly similarly. I'm wondering if you didn't accidentally select the Year End function instead.

That is something I was wondering also but I am usually very careful at that because this is not what you want to have happen now.
We have a network backup is there a way that you can provide me with the information as to where this would be stored and what program name it is under and then I can restore just the AR portion of Adagio.

Hi, Wanda,

I'm sorry but when it comes to restoring backups, it really is best to deal with your Adagio consultant. I have no way of knowing exactly how your nightly backups are done and stored there.

Wanda:

The best thing to do is get the person that supports your hardware and network to assist you with restoring you nightly backup. This would be the person who set it up and they would be most familar with the hardware and backup software.

Have this person restore your Adagio database to a temp location and then contact us (your Adagio dealer) to assist with making sure that the live data files are replaced correctly.

Thanks for the help but the Tech line called and was able to help but not completely fix the problem but it is workable now.
