Running Receivables 9.0

We regularly print/consolidate G/L transactions
and retrieve to G/L

The AR GL transaction file just keeps growing larger
and larger even though we print/consolidate

When I run a Data Integrity check the A/R transaction
file shows 184000 records but the G/L transaction
file shows 1.2 Million records???

Wondering what's going on...

The AR GL transaction file that you are referring to is probably the one that keeps track of what GL accounts each AR transaction was posted to. This is a separate file than the one that stores the GL batch entries for retrieval into Ledger, which is essentially a temporary file (ARALBTCH.xxx) that reverts to zero bytes after a successful retrieval.
