Apparently there is a problem with FX 9.0 and Simply accounting so based on recommendation I installed FX 8.1C. I am unable to open report created in FX 9 and get an error "Data Version (9000) may not be compatible."

That's to be expected. A statement created/modified in version 9.0 won't be backwards compatible with version 8.1. What's the question you want an answer to?

I just thought if we have to revert to an older version because of glitches in the new one, there may be a solution.
