I'm trying to change the ship to address on a PO, im using POA v8.1B (110325). I've created the ship to code to read customer address. I've used the ship to code but the PO still reads our company address as the ship to address. I'd like the PO to read where I want it shipped to. I'm I missing something here or is this a flaw?

ShipTo and BillTo Addresses are created in PO through the Maintenance function. Click on the Maintain button in the toolbar and select the appropriate tab.

You are also able to edit existing ShipTo/BillTo addresses or create new ones from within an order by selecting the tab and clicking the Create/Edit button.

Create a code for the particular customer address that you want to use. Sounds like you'll want to change the customer name to the name of the customer you want the goods shipped to also. ShipTo and BillTo Addresses in PO are independent of ShipTo codes used within Receivables and OrderEntry.

Check the PO specification and make sure the ship to address is not hard coded.

Thanks Softrak support I guess I wasn't clear. yes I know how to create the ship to codes, and yes I've done that. Yes I know I can change them.

Your right Doug the Ship to Address is hard coded with our address that's why I was having a problem.
