My retained earnings account seems to be inaccurate. I have printed the first period in the new year. The income statement report has the same amount as the trial balance, but the balance sheet report has a different amount and this is the amount that it should be. What is wrong with my trial balance?

If you cannot figure this one out yourself, you need to ask another accountant to take a look. Alternatively, you might want to ask your Adagio consultant. I do this kind of thing for my clients all of the time, but I can't help without access to the data.

By the way, what version of Adagio Ledger are you using?
