We have managed to get a corupt file in our PO module. It gives us double headers & some data duplication on the print copy of our actual PO. Data is good, program was reloaded with no repair but a control file is damaged somewhere. We changed the specified templete & the same duplicate header occurs. We have test data that using the same template is working fine. I need to know which files to copy from test to live data that act as control. I will of course backup all files 1st.
Thank you

Hi Bruce,

There is no such "control file" in Purchase Orders for Adagio. Someone will need to look at the data and see specifically what is causing the problem. Does the problem exist in your most recent backup?

Maybe it's just the specification file. Is it all PO's or just one or two? How about the sample data?

devised a plan need to check the concept with you. We will go to existing data & reverse any PO's in last two days, both PO & receipts. Will then restore PO module back to good status. We will re enter PO's & receipts. The only thing I see that will be orphaned is a PO receipt & the return for each item we had to reverse. These will show in inventory. Will data integrity fix these stragglers.

Hi Bruce,

Sorry, we can't comment without looking at the data, which is beyond the scope of support that this forum can provide.

Bruce - before you go to all that work rebuilding the data, I'd suggest having your Adagio Consultant take a look at this for you.

I haven't seen this problem in particular, but have seen many odd things with specification/template files that had nothing to do with corrupted data. I'd hate for you to do all that work when another option may be available.

If your consultant isn't able to assist, give us a call.
