Cool Aid Adagio Scholar Registered: 12/30/08 Posts: 78 Loc: Victoria, BC, Canada	Hello, We have a number of GL departments that are no longer used. I have tried to delete the department codes but am unable to as there are still active accounts assigned to those departments. Is there an easy way to make all accounts associated with one department inactive or does this have to be done on an account by account basis? Thank you, Tanja

Retired_Guy Adagio Master Registered: 03/16/99 Posts: 10504 Loc: Canada	In Ledger V9.0B you can make a department "Inactive", and that will offer you the chance to make all the associated accounts inactive. _________________________ Andrew Bates

Bruce Gardner Adagio Wizard Registered: 06/15/04 Posts: 3617 Loc: Toronto ON, Canada	Choose Edit, remove the checkmark on "Department active" then respond "Yes" to the subsequent dialogue box.
