Our UOM is each. We key in each. But when it's printed, UOM is changed to 1000. How can we make it to each? Thanks in advance.

Hello Fong,

There are several units of measure (UOMs) stored with an item. Are you sure that the correct one has been chosen to print on your purchase order? For example, there is a stocking unit of measure that may be different than the ordering unit of measure.

Our UOMs are all correct. No problem in PLUS's Iventory Receipt. Only in POA.

Plus Inventory Receipts and POA use different specifications for printing their forms. Have you checked that the correct UOM has been selected for printing on the Purchase Order?

POA was setup by our consultant couple years ago. She is aware of the problem but has no luck in contacting Purple.

What do mean "no luck in contacting Purple". If you are in North America (your profile doesn't say), you can call The Stief Group (www.stiefgroup.com) at 800-540-3146 and you will get a tech person right away. They are in Toronto and handle tech support in North America for POA. They are very knowledgeable and responsive. Of course, I'm assuming you are currently on POA Support Plan (or whatever they call it).

I believe the problem is simply changing your specification on your Purchase Order form to pick the proper unit of measure. Your choices are either Pricing Units, Costing Units, or Stocking Units. We believe your issue was identified several years ago and corrected several years ago. Sorry that you were not aware that the changes had been made.
Our records show that your are on our Purplesoft software maintenance, so if your software release is not current, please contact your consultant and download the most current version, and revise the specifications accordingly.
