Users of Adagio DataCare and BankRec may get errors when attempting to use the Help file because these applications use Compiled (CHM) help format, and a Windows security patch affects loading CHM files from a network drive. Loading locally stored CHM files works OK, and one solution is to copy CHM help files to a local workstation. There are a couple knowledge base articles on the Microsoft site that can be used to create exclusions and allow access of CHM help files from a network: Knowledge base KB892675 Knowledge base KB896054 There may be other knowledge base articles pertinent to the scenario.

OK, that's what we get for trying to be helpful... Here's the 'specific' information that worked for one particular person - hope this is more helpful than the links. Not guaranteeing this will work as other security settings may be in place - just passing on information... Code:
Add the following key to the Windows registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x\ItssRestrictions Add the following value: "MaxAllowedZone"=dword:00000001 Make sure that there are no spaces in the key or value - this will prevent things happening.
