I have just encountered the problem whereby an Excel Direct export will do the formatting and titles but no data due to the "==" formulae not working.

Strange but interesting, is the fact that the client reports that their current live data works fine but the Prior Year copy of their data (same specs with "==") does not export properly.

While the change to "!=" works, it is quite time consuming as the arguments have to be changed around as well. Has there been any further progress ? Can we expect a fix any time soon ?

BTW - The edit replace function gives a problem when trying to replace == with != I have noticed this problem before with the replace function. At that time I could choose more characters to search and replace and it worked fine. For example if replacing .B with .BY was giving trouble, I just did DATA.B with DATA.BY and all was well.

The ExcelDirect problem will be fixed in the next release.

When using Edit | Replace, I agree that it sometimes has trouble "finding" the target - but then again, I've seen the same behaviour in Excel.

You do know the trick about turning all the formulas to text (by replacing "=" with "'="), doing the replace, and then turning the text back to formulas?
