Has anyone else gotten this error after installing AR80B 061216 and Invoices 80A 061101 service pack?

Error:120 lookup item not found : : Formulas.name:=JobTrackingOption.

Job Cost is not installed. Error occurs when previewing or printing AR cash batch listing, Adjustment posting journal, Customer transaction listing.

Aged Trial Balance prints correctly.

Hello Kate,

Please check the Company Profile, Integration/Reports page, Job Costing integration option.

It should be set to None.

Job Costing Integration option is set to None. Since Job Cost has never been installed at this site, there is no other option available.

Error message comes up with these reports:
AR Customer Transactions
AR Cash Batch listing
AR Invoice Posting Journal
AR Adjustment Posting Journal

These reports print okay:
Overdue Receivables
AR Aged Trial Balance
Customer List and Statistics
AR Invoice Batch Listing
AR Adjustment Batch Listing
AR Cash Posting Journal

Hi Kate,

The problem is that the new Adagio Receivables 80B has a new option for choosing to Track Job Cost level by either at the job or job/phase/category level. Whether a company is using JobCost or not, the same reports are used with the same formulas. The reports having a problem are looking for a Job Tracking formula name and can't find it.

The next thing to check is that you may have either the report or the report table out of synch. More likely the report is fine and the new table was not installed because the existing table could not be installed over top of (wrong file date, read only, etc). Or perhaps the wrong table is being used because the report tables drive setting is pointing towards the incorrect QRASP folder.

What are the file dates of the QRTAR*.QRW in QRASP?
-QRTARW10.QRW is 11/24/2006
-QRTARZ80.QRW is 11/30/2006
Does CHKSYS find any problems?

You may have to remove the QRTAR* tables from QRASP and try reinstalling Adagio Receivables.

QRTAR*.* files are matching and with correct dates.

Found program files crctrans, crcbtch, cripost, and crapost had dates of 11/9/06 in their system but not in mine. Renamed those 4 files and replaced them with corresponding files from my system. Then could print correctly.

11/9/06 was the date I installed a service pack for Receivables (80A 060625) and one for Invoices (80A 061101).

The client did not have a problem after that until the installation of AR 80B.

Files now in use, which print correctly, are dated 9/22/06, 6/29/06, 7/18/06 and 7/18/06 respectively. I would guess that these reports print correctly because they do not have the Job Tracking formula.

So your response brings up the question of what are the correct report files for these functions if AR80B (061216) is installed?

This means that installing upgrades may not over-write files as required. It is possible in this scenario that all the report files in \softrak\crwin\StandardRP are not correct. So when the application sends information to the report, such as the Job Tracking option, the report doesn't know what it is receiving and gives an error.

When updates are installed, the INSTALL.LOG in \softrak\crwin is updated. Check here to see which files were installed and overwritten, and which files were not able to be updated - you may find that particular report files were not updated as expected.

A solution would be to remove (rename, move to a different directory) any RPT files from \StandardRP that installing the upgrade did not overwrite, and re-install the upgrade.
