I am running Order Entry, we are having a problem with the software allowing duplicate "Customer Reference Numbers." What can be done to prevent users entering a customer order twice.
My OE for Accpac Plus does not allow duplication.

What field are you desiring to not be duplicated for an OE order? Is it the order number, the reference, or another?

If you mean the Reference field that appears within the Customer Information section of the order, then indeed neither Adagio nor Accpac Plus Order Entry (on it's own) prevents posting an order where the reference had previously been posted. Perhaps you had a custom add-on to Accpac Plus OE that disallows entry or posting or an order where the reference field is still in the system?

If you mean the order number that appears within the Order Information section, then indeed Adagio OrderEntry does prevent you from posting an order number that still exists in the system.

OE Security (last sold as UniDevCo OE Security)had an option to prevent duplicate Order Header Reference (normally referred to as PO)numbers.

This needs to be added to the wish list for OE.
