The way the fields print on a report is determined by which section they are placed in. You mentioned in your question that the amounts you want are subtotal fields, yet the item description is in the detail section.

The solution to this is to either move the description to the subtotal section, so that it is in the same row as the other subtotal amounts, or put in a second description field into the subtotal section. Whenever you want information to be in the same row on your printed report, it must be on the same row when designing the report.
