I'm trying to automate the run of a reporting package, but I'm looking for a report date always 1 fiscal period behind when running. For example on the 3rd Wednesday of October, I want to run the September 30th report.

I could accomplish this with 12 different scripts, each with a different /tVALUE and update it as part of my YE processes, but was wondering if someone had a "fancier" suggestion that might change my single script into something more versatile. My current command line is below.

c:\Softrak\FX\fx.exe /uSYS /psys /d"e:\adagio data\" /eADB /t%date% /wMonthly /q

Do they have Console? If they do, you can create an Automation file and use the SetSessionDate Command with the Noun: EndLastPeriod.
