Client is running Adagio on a LAN with XP Pro & they have the need for accessing their own "desktop" from a central computer. (Basically two people cover switchboard duties from a reception area, and they need to connect to their own desktops during that time) There are three computers in this scenario and we are able to connect from the "reception" computer to the two desktops remotely. When connected they run Adagio, Outlook, Word, etc.
However, when trying to run Adagio directly from the "reception" computer after a remote session the following error message appears. "Too many other files are currently in use by 16-bit programs. Quit one or more 16-bit programs, or increase the value of the files command in your config.sys file"
Accpac Plus was not being used during the remote session or on the "reception" computer and the only way to resolve the problem is to reboot the "reception" computer. I can set config.sys to 250, but it is not required with Adagio. - correct?
Thanks
