Invoices was upgraded from 9.3A to 9.3B last night.

Today the client is complaining that some users can no longer tick the Move box when copying an archive batch.

These users are in a Security Group that doesn't allow deleting a batch. Once I enabled that option they were once again able to tick the Move box.

But the users are not allowed to delete a batch, and now they can.

Is there a way to gray out or disable the Delete button for these users? Or some other way to allow Move without allowing Delete?

I understand the reasoning for the change - that the Move option is really a Copy/Delete function. But at least with the Move function the batch doesn't just disappear, so it's much less dangerous.

Can you enable the "Delete" capability as you have done, but remove the "Delete" button with an Entry Template linked to the Security Group?

Is there any way to suppress the "Did the Invoice(s) print/send OK?" pop-up that now appears every time you print an invoice?

I seem to remember this being addressed a while back but I did a search and couldn't find an answer.

Dan - Be more specific please.

If you think it's the "Close report dialog after print?" option, it's not.

Getting back to the Delete issue, I disabled the Delete button under Edit Templates, and it had no effect.

Softrak, can you please research this and let me know why that option is not working.

It's at the bottom under "By Company". The option is "Ask Print OK after forms print?"

Hello Steve,

No, there is no way to Move a batch if the Security Group does not allow batches to be deleted.

The Delete in the Entry Templates does not behave the same way as Payables and Receivables.

Because there is a separate Security option that controls whether batches can be deleted, the Delete in the Entry Templates controls whether the Delete button appears for the Item Details on the documents.
