This is not strictly an Adagio question, but here goes.

A client wants their drivers to be able to print one-off bar code labels to affix to items. The driver would type in the code, either into the machine or into their cell phone which is connected to the machine, and out would spit the label.

The codes are actually Inventory item numbers, but they don't need integration with Adagio.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Steve

Avery has a free program called Design & Print that is pretty good.
You can define a database with it to import the item number and description etc.

IMS LabelPrint would work and can use the Inventory Item file

Hi Terry

They are looking for a label maker (hardware), not software. They are fine with typing in an item code in order to spit out a bar code label (it doesn't need the item description).

Hi Steve,

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WZBQWN1?pd_...0e0d36&th=1

Here is a link to devices that might do what you want.
M210 or M211 would be my choice depending on the barcode required.
M210 looks like the simplest.
