Can I produce a report in Quik History from Quik Invoices that wil show the invoice number, invoice total and HST/GST total for a period of time

No, you cannot use Quik History to produce this report.

Quik History captures the Quik Invoice information and stores the distributions to different accounts with the invoice number. It allows you to do simple queries but it will not total on change of invoice.

You will need to use Quik Reports to report on Quik Invoice History or on Quik History to produce this report.

I have purchased QR 6.5A. I now have QI 6.2A and QR. In preparing my first report using the history from QI, the last four digits of the customer number were shown as the first four digits of the customer name. In addition, the two fields I wanted to print, Pre tax amount and Tax amount 1 were both zero. Are the versions compatible?

You have selected the wrong QIP table in Options\Install data.

Install QIP after QR and then go into Options\Install data and select the QIP table for QIP 62x.
