We are running Invoices and AR 9.3A and if we forget put an invoice email into the queue and forget to send it that day, the next day when the queue is sent, we receive an error stating "Cannot Expand Cover Sheet" and it does not show the cover sheet fields in the sent email. We also close Adagio at the end of every day and reboot the workstation and our database is located on out server. I saw there is a fix for this error in Payables 9.3C but it didn't mention Invoices. Any idea how we can prevent this in the future or if a fix is being worked on?

Hello Ginny,

If you are creating the emails from the Open Batch in Adagio Invoices, you must send the emails before the batch is posted.

If this problem is happening often, I suggest creating the emails from History instead of from the Open Batches.

Thanks for the reply. We do not post invoices until the end of the month so that's not causing the issue and emailing from historical won't help in this case because we prefer invoices be sent right after creation. Is there anything else that may be causing this issue? It's been going on since the Adagio specialist installed the Invoices module a couple years ago. I'm thinking it has something more to do with either closing the Invoices app and reopening the following day or perhaps trying to send the email from the queue on a different day than when it was put into the queue. Is there perhaps a setting that would remind us before closing the app that there are unsent emails in the queue to keep this from happening?

Hello Ginny,

No, if the Invoices are still in the same Open Batch that they were emailed from, sending them the next day is not going to cause this problem.

Ok, so what can we do to troubleshoot the issue? We asked our Adagio specialist a while back but he said he had never seen that issue so we don't know what to do from here.

I have outlined the only 2 known issues that will cause this problem.

You have not given the version and release date of the Invoices module. Please make sure that you are running Invoices 9.3B (2023.02.22).
