Am I missing something, or does DocStore not capture PDFs of picking slips (or order confirmations) when printed out of OrderEntry?

I notice that the PDFs are captured when invoices are credit notes are printed immediately after posting, or when reprinted. So why can't picking slips and order confirmations be captured when printed?

if they were getting saved, how quickly do you think you would end up training users to always reprint them using adagio's buttons and avoid using the DS copies? I think it wouldn't take long.

You'd want to avoid scenarios where they rely on a older docstore copy after the document information in adagio has been updated. Could get pretty confusing.

I don't understand the concern. They are currently printing the forms and sending them to the warehouse, including when an order changes (which is almost never since their orders mostly get imported from the web or from EDI). So of course the PDF in DocStore would be accurate if it's being saved when the form is printed.

Not every site imports most of their orders from EDI but I do agree that most sites will reprint a Pick immediately after making a change.

I seem to recall that Softrak had some other reasons for not including the Pick in DocStore. One concern that definitely exists is some reprinting the Pick from DocStore and then that Pick gets shipped as a new order.

Maybe Softrak could make this yet another CP option to allow DocStore for Picks.
