We have a client that is going to start PAD in Receivables. We loaded the Payments Add-On without issue.

Problem, when we went to initiate the setup in the Invoice module and on the System Options tab in the Company Profile the "Pre-authorized-debit file format" option is not available.

We thought it might be security related but tried both the "SYS" user and a non SYS user with full access and still no go.

To double check the add-on loaded correctly we checked the Help-About option and the Payments add-on is listed.

So not sure what is going on.

They are currently running the latest versions and all service packs/hot fixes have been applied.

Hi, Scott,

Are IN, AR and the Pymts Addon all installed to the same Softrak folder and is the user's shortcut used to launch IN pointing to this Softrak folder?

Was the Payments addon registered? This would be done when you start up AR the first time after installing the Payments addon.

Hi Support,

Yes all modules are pointing to the Softrak folder on the server.

No the Payments module has not yet been registered. We are waiting on the License file from you folks. We thought about that. Is it just that simple? Once the license has been input we are good to go?

Support a follow up. The license number did the trick. As soon as it was entered the PAD fields appeared.

Just curious I thought all modules were fully functional without the registration #. Is the Payments Add-On an exception to this?

Addon modules may be different as are different reporting products. When in doubt, register the product.
