Well to keep up to date on this the latest. Still will not work.

For Dan yes the Crystal Runtime did in fact install (V25). So no issue there.

This time I tried a bit of a different approach. I accessed one of the other modules (Ledger). In doing it triggered of course the workstation install. The firsts message I received was "Adagio Common Workstation Setup" message and prompted me to proceed which I obviously did.

It then got to a certain point on the common workstation setup install and this time hung on this box:

"Skipping System Support Files
I:\Softrak\Setup_Redistributable.exe"

It loaded to 77%(FWIW) and then just hung.

My assumption is this hang up and the previous one mentioned in previous posts are related.

This latest attempt again no anti virus was running since I had previously un installed it.

John, I've had luck at some sites giving me a hard time similar to what you describe by Uninstalling all Adagio programs including Crystal v25 and Softland pdf drivers using a deep uninstall program like Revo (not the Windows uninstall). Then reinstall from scratch with the AV off.

I will do that if I have to but as Leigh at Support has suggested it may be a rights issue.

Anyway will do battle again tomorrow.

With that said their IT guy (and I use the term loosely trying to be polite) has indicated to me that he did log in as the administrator and had the same issue. He did this without my involvement so quite frankly I don't quite believe him.

Now that I have a bit of time yes to your question "on the floor" i.e. Never Notify is the setting on that workstation.
FYI.

Brian is referring to the User Account Control (UAC).

By the floor he is referring to setting this to "Never Notify" which requires that you drag the slider bar to the bottom of the vertical scale (aka the floor).
