Client just emailed with the following Payables error. They are using Payables V9.3B(200321):

"Control 'TSEQuikGrid($01947E10) has no parent window. Path:~TSEQuikGrid($01947E10)"
Continue application.

Never seen this before. Any suggestions?

Hi John

What were they doing when they got the error message?

If they were printing a report, then you will want to rename the \Softrak\Payables\ModifiedReports folder (if it exists) and see if that "fixes" the problem. If it does, then there is a modified standard report which needs to be updated. I would like to know the name of the report they were trying to print.

Steve she gets the error after she prints cheques. Now I am not sure if that means after she has clicked on the satisfactory switch and the error comes when she prints the check register or if the actual advice/check spec is corrupted.

Steve to follow up from previous she gets the error after checks are printed. Everything else OK. So going by your theory then the check spec is corrupted? The canned reports seem to be fine. Will further investigate tonight.

No idea why they would have received that error. We just re ran her payables run and went without a hitch.

Not sure if you can shed any light on the error suppport?

Hi, John,

When they've finished printing everything, they are returned to the Active System Check Runs window. How many fields/columns do they have in that window? How wide/#characters are the columns?

Do you receive the same error if you print a System Check run in your office using a copy of their data? Ideally, this will be a backup of their data made 'prior' to doing the system check run.

If so, please do 2 things: (a) send me the data and (b) at the site, create an Adagio Snapshot and send that to me also.

Upload it to our database repair site (softrak.com/dbr), flag it for TechSupport and put the client name in the Comment field please.

Will keep an eye open for the Adagio snapshot also.
