We are trying to install on a server as per subject line and the installs will not proceed as the system thinks users are still in the system. They are not.

Is this an IT issue to either reboot the server and/or release the active user files from the system. Or are there files from the \Softrak\System folder for example that we can look for to get around this issue.

If this is a Lan Environment, all the workstations should be logged off and they may release the file. If this is a Terminal Server, you just need to reboot the server. There is not workaround for any files in the Softrak folder.

Thanks Patricia. So in other words even if the other workstations(they are on a LAN) are out of Adagio but still logged into the server have them log off? Will give it a shot.

I recently saw PayDirt hold open the \softrak\system\ADS32.DLL file, so it could be another product besides an Adagio module. Closing PD down allowed the service pack to complete.
