We use Adagio Ledger, Accounts Paybles, Accounts Receivables,Invoices,Doc Store and Grid View. All modules are up to date.
We also have a golf software product installed on the computers, ( Tee Sheets, Sales, Inventory ).
Last week the golf software was updated and Adagio will no longer work. The error message was not noted, although it did mention "document ".
Our IT staff believe the error is caused by a conflict with Crystal Reports as the golf software now has the latest Crystal version 32 bit 13-0-22.
The golf software developer claims the solution is to create a virtual machine.
Does Softrak have any other solutions available?

I will be contacting our service provider but would like a response from Softrak.

Thank you

Hi there,

We know of a conflict with Crystal Service Pack 22 and current releases of Adagio.

The quickest solution to getting a software product that uses this release to run on the same computer as Adagio is to create a virtual machine.

Another thing you might try would be to uninstall SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework from the Install/Uninstall Programs and Features Windows dialog and then launch an Adagio module. It should demand that a Workstation install be done and it will re-install the earlier SAP runtime. The Adagio modules should now work properly.

However, you may then find that you cannot print from your other application.

Edit Reason: Added uninstall suggestion.

Not necessarily. But it will allow Adagio to run!

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

I'm running into the same issue where I updated another piece of software that installed a newer version of the runtime and now adagio wont work. if I uninstall the runtime and install the one in the sys directory it fixes the adagio issue but not my other software doesn't work.

Any recommendation?

You'll have to create a virtual machine to separate out the two applications.

Which versions of Crystal Runtime are required by adagio? in 9.2A or 9.3B?
Why is it not possible to have a later version than the required one?
I do understand that backward compatibility is not always possible but forward compatibility has never been an issue for us in any other application that uses these Crystal Redist.

Thanks
Yann

It's an SAP issue over which we have no control.

You must be doing something different with as I have been using it in my applications for years and it never cares about which version is installed as long as it is newer.
Can you please offer more detailed information?

Which versions are required by Adagio 9.2A or 9.3A?

Thanks
