When I attempt to install the latest update to Bank Rec, I receive a message saying that the following file in use problem exists. ADS32DLL I have no programs open

Is Adagio is used by anyone else other than you? if so, do those users have Adagio open? In order to install Adagio, all users must have closed all of their modules. You can tell by opening a module and selecting Help | Active Users to see who has Adagio running.

There are occasions when the user counting mechanism gets out of synch and thinks there is someone still logged in. In that case, the simplest solution is to reboot the server (when possible).

Received notice yesterday of Service pack update, which I did this morning. Would not "run" as other updates did, so ended up saving it to desktop and then downloaded no problem. Once downloaded I am now no longer able to open any other modules other than the GL.
BR gives me "Error External exception E06D7363 occurred when attempting to check existence of A/P global", while the other modules reference the E06D7363.

Can I revert to last Service pack?

Re-checked all the updates and found I had missed a service pack update for AP the end of Jan/18 ... Totally my fault - was in panic mode here as we head into Y/E.
All is now working okay here!

Interestingly, I got this message two nights ago and resolved it in a panic without much thought as I was preparing for a presentation. I wrote off the problem to the fact that my laptop install of Adagio is not necessarily "pristine".

In any event, installing the AP Service Pack will resolve the error which was caused by an incorrect product build.

At the moment the download of the BankRec Service Pack is frozen while we correct the problem.

Well, Andrew....it did solve "that" problem, as I'm able to open all the modules and work in them, but now when I go to Bank Rec, I cannot select a Vendor from the list as it is not accessible. So at a stand still yet again, as I cannot access my AP from the BR.

anything else I can try?

One other note, just tried to print cheques and the invoices do not show up to select for vendors :-(

Normally I wait two or more weeks before I upgrade, except this time. Wishing I had waited.

Re-download and re-install the BankRec Service Pack. The problem has been fixed.
