Hi Joan,

If you simply want to print your posting journals to a file in order to clear (without wasting paper), then perhaps try the HTML format for printing to file. It may be that your posting journal is so large that it exceeds the maximum file sizes for Excel and Word (for example, Excel spreadsheets have a maximum number of rows - quite likely to be reached when exporting a years worth of transactions for higher-volume companies).

Hi Joan,

If you printed to paper one of the posting seqences and got the same error, and presumably get the same error if you preview one or more posting sequences, then it sounds like that the exporting of the file is not the problem. In fact, I wonder if the data file is OK. It may be necessary to remove the file itself manually (prior to Year End) in order to continue.

If you do this, then make sure you make a backup of your data. The name of the file is GLPJRNAL.
