Good morning all,

I had a problem yesterday while attempting to install the AR and AP Hotfixes (2017-07-26 and 2017-07-18 respectfully) and received this error during install:

But I couldn't get it resolved, not sure if I need to be on the server itself but here are some notes about the environment of my problem.

A bit of side info…
1. I did not have direct desktop access to the server and installed the 9.3A modules and the AR SP from 2017-07-11 from one of the workstations to the network share.
2. I re-downloaded the HF’s a couple times from the Softrak site, and tried sending the HF’s that I had downloaded and used successfully locally to the client’s machine without luck.
3. I tried launching the installation from Windows Explorer with the file saved on the workstation desktop, within the mapped network share, and also from the UNC share location.

Any thoughts?

Hi Jesse:

As a test I just downloaded and installed the Hot Fix on my system so it's definitely an environment problem at your client's site. You are doing the correct thing by installing from one of the workstations.

Try removing all of the previous downloads and then download again (so that it has the original name ARHFP20170726.exe). Try "Run as Administrator" in case it's a problem with permissions.

Thanks Bruce. Thinking back at the moment I think I neglected trying to run as Administrator. I'll download a new copy and try there.
