You can enter notes related to a quote in SalesCQ, in addition to comments and instructions.

Where do those notes appear when you transfer the quote to a sales order in OrderEntry? If the answer is nowhere, will that change with the next version of OrderEntry?

Hi Steve,

SalesCQ is responsible for transferring quotes to OrderEntry, so any change to the process need to be done in SalesCQ, assuming there is some place to put the notes.

Right now there doesn't appear any place to put the notes. Will there be in the next version of OrderEntry?

I'm assuming if the answer is yes, then SalesCQ can be programmed to send them there, if it isn't already.

Yes, OrderEntry 9.3A supports Document Notes. When that is released there will be a place for SalesCQ to place them.
